Environmental campaigners have expressed alarm at the number of used blue plastic disposable gloves discarded outside parks and supermarkets. The group, Litter Free Dorset, says that they not only pollute the countryside, they could also carry a risk of infection with the Coronavirus. They’ve started a campaign called “Bin The Beast” to encourage people to dispose of them properly. Sophie Colley , their spokeswoman, spoke to our Coastal Ways reporter, Ian Harkness.
