KOHDEE

Ogechukwu ‘KOHDEE’ Otu, born March 31, is a Nigerian Afro-Pop and Afrobeats artist known for his soulful melodies and vivid storytelling. Raised in Abuja, the fifth of seven children, his music was shaped by his gospel-singing mother and his father’s diverse collection of Rock, Reggae, Highlife, and more. After studying IT in Cyprus, he pursued music full-time. His debut EP The Link (2020) featured 1da Banton, followed by Mexebu with The Cavemen. Influenced by Burna Boy, Drake, and Fela Kuti, his sound blends Afrobeat with modern soul. In 2023, after signing with Troniq Music, KOHDEE released Mr. Fantastic and Go Well with Tekno, and joined Oxlade, Nelly Baradi, and Kemuel on Dirty. His 2024 EP Sweet Karma includes Euphoria, No Consider, and fan-favorite Zaza. In March 2025, he dropped the Zaza Remix with ODUMODUBLVCK, fusing smooth vocals and gritty rap into a crowd-pulling anthem. KOHDEE’s rise reflects resilience, passion, and a growing voice in the Afrobeat scene.
