Jelani

From his origins banging on tables to make a beat, then freestyling with friends and family, to becoming a classically trained violinist, Jelani has found his voice and developed a lifelong passion for music. He grew up as a member of an active music ministry eventually finding that his two greatest influences included his father, who introduced him to the world of music and pushed Jelani to expand his abilities and the iconic artist Andre 3000, who inspired Jelani with his brilliant musicianship and lyrics. Jelani’s sound today has been described by many as similar to Chance the Rapper, Smino, and Mick Jenkins.
