I.N.R.J. MUSIC

I.N.R.J. (pronounced "High Energy"). These are the initials of Nicolas Robert Jacques D., who was born in the beautiful Art Deco city of Casablanca in the magical, mystical land of Morocco. Nicolas’s passion for music was evident at a very young age and only grew stronger throughout his early years. He was largely influenced by African percussion and disco music. Nicolas was raised in a conservative Italian family and grew up learning 6 languages. Eventually, this opened doors to a career in hospitality, allowing him to travel the world and simultaneously bolster his primary passion — music — by spending time in global hotspots like Ibiza & Mykonos, among others. In 1997 Nicolas made his home in the Magic City of Miami, where he currently resides. Music continues to be a primary focus in his life and he has remained connected to the latest trends in music that pass through the city’s vibrant scene. Nicolas believes that dance music has the capability to free one’s mind and soul, incite happiness and, potentially, create a feeling of unity amongst those dancing. Each month, Nicolas produces a podcast with a goal of spreading this positive message. Uniting people to achieve social goals via music and dance has been a practice since ancient times. Yet today major festivals and music events are exploding all over the world with merely the focus of promoting ambitious DJ’s, personalities, and artists. In 2003 Nicolas founded House4Peace as a movement focused on harnessing the power of music, partnership with today’s major music events, and attach this message for an elevated purpose: to direct energy, music, funds, and our voices towards today’s greatest social struggles.
