Good Side of Crypto

Hi, my name is Cheryl Spangler, welcome to the good side of crypto today. I wanted to walk you through a little bit background, kind of where I came up with and why I am saying, and what is the good side of crypto? What is it? What does it mean? And how can you get involved? But first, before we get into the important things, like how we're going to change the world, you should know that I absolutely love coffee. Okay. I'm an espresso freak. You're going to get to know a little bit more about me in my new open, transparent change the world with social good podcast. You will also get to know my dog, Bree sometimes she runs around the back, growls and barks at people. So in order to have a good side of crypto, we also have to have a bad side of crypto. So somewhere in all these weekly podcasts, we're going to touch on that as well. Very, very interesting stuff. But one of the things I want you to know is that you will hear from people, businesses, apps, tools, and everything in between that is doing something to improve the world, doing something purpose driven, and they are attaching to the blockchain and cryptocurrency and linked to a social issue, to a social mission that they have, or their community has. That is really the essence of the good side of crypto. It is finding, interviewing, talking about and exploring all the people, businesses and tools that are out there on a purposeful mission to help improve society in some way. I've been building communities for 20 years online, offline through Facebook live, podcasts, Lean In Virginia, Amazon Prime Channel. I am also like a techpreneur, I obsess over certain new technology actually and then I learn it and mostly I am self taught and I always find myself coming back to enhancing social connectedness. And if you don't know what that means, it's actually the words in the dictionary under the suicide hotline.
